Paul Frank is a renowned pop culture and lifestyle brand known for its youthful, whimsical and humorous appeal. With a renewed focus on the Party Fever theme, our objective was to create a contemporary yet nostalgic modern-retro guide. We aimed to capture timeless sentiments through retro prints that evoke feelings of nostalgia, positive vibes and fun. We created new illustrations inspired from the worlds of dance, music, and games.
We were granted the license to reimagine and to redraw all the iconic characters and push them in a new direction. By blending exaggerated perspectives with new elements of fun, we aimed to revitalise the brand and appeal to a broad audience.
Overall, our mission was to create an engaging modern-retro guide capturing the essence of Paul Frank, blending nostalgia and contemporary flair in a way that resonates with young adults.
