We partnered with WINK to create the Bud Light Seltzer Sessions live experience global toolkit. The ask was to create one coherent identity for every Seltzer Sessions event globally.
Our solution “A Hazy Summer” is a vibrant, fruity and fresh identity, reflecting the 4 Seltzer flavours within the gradient blends.

Following the success of our Sussex creative campaign #knifefree, Leicestershire Police asked us to talk to teenagers and young people to respectfully educate them about the dangers of carrying a knife.
Our approach was to use powerful inclusive statements to build a sense of community and ‘oneness’ instead of finger pointing and blaming. We employed empowering language and a future facing visual language inspired by sport, fashion & music to relate to our audience. Secondary information about the consequences of carrying a knife was included in the communication but the overall messaging was empowering & positive.
Assets created for the campaign included a full suite of animated social media posts, out of home advertising, flyers, conversation guide and artwork for surrender bins.

One of the great pleasures of running a creative studio for such a long time is the relationships you build over the years. One of those special clients is the publishing house HarperCollins Publishers and the author Richard Kadrey. We have designed the Sandman Slim book cover series for 12 years & now that the final adventure is available for pre-order we thought it would be a good idea to share all 12 covers.

I’ve been itching to share this project for a while & it’s one that Crush are incredibly proud to be a part of. Our brief from Sussex Police was to influence behaviour change among young people to reduce knife-related crime in Sussex. We were asked to speak directly to the audience 15 – 18 yr olds in an authentic and engaging way.
We wanted our audience to stop in their tracks when confronted with the creative, and our campaign is therefore made up of slightly surreal scenes that reinforce the consequences of carrying a knife, coupled with bold typographic statements that ‘tell it like it is’.

We’re very proud to have just found out that our Comedy Central ‘Weird World' idents won 1st Prize in the Eyes & Ears international awards for Best Bumper! It's been fantastic working with the Comedy Central creative team in Amsterdam for another summer. We created their on air summer idents for Europe, Middle East and Africa and delivered a number of creative concepts including Weird World which came out on top! The Comedy Central logo plays host to a very strange environment populated by sunbathing toast, man eating ice creams, an antelope riding a unicycle and a coffee cup eating a doughnut. We're already looking forward to our next collaboration!

An exciting new workspace members’ club, The Vine Club, will be opening its doors in the heart of Brighton’s North Laine at the end of January.
The brainchild of husband and wife team Carl Rush and Helen Rush, who run Brighton based creative agency Crush Creative and illustration agency Agency Rush respectively, The Vine Club will offer a super stylish, relaxed, premium workspace designed to attract entrepreneurs, innovators and creative businesses alike.
The couple’s inspiration for The Vine Club came from many years working in similar environments in New York. Always an aspiration to bring the idea to Brighton, Helen and Carl have reinterpreted the concept with their own business needs in mind.
“If we didn’t have our own space this is where we would like to work”, explains Helen. “The Vine Club aims to provide a flexible style of working or a second business space for like-minded business communities in Brighton. You can expect a calm, relaxed and elegant environment and the chance to network, promote your business and collaborate. With the numbers of flexible workings growing annually to 4.2million in the last ten years, it’s an upward trend that we are excited to be at the heart of.”
The Vine Club has a unique Brighton history. Most recently a kickboxing club, the Victorian building was originally home to a co in making business - the ground floor space provided garaging for the horses when they came to collect the co ins. Now Helen and Carl have redesigned the space, creating a sophisticated interior aesthetic.
Carl and Helen are also co-founders and curators of Glug Brighton, which they have run for the past 8 years. Described as a “notworking” club, Glug was set up to champion creative communities around the world. Glug Brighton put on a regular calendar of events in which Helen and Carl’s favourite creatives and up-and- coming contemporaries give stimulating talks, make live art and host a whole range of inspiring interactive events and workshops. Now with 3000 members ranging from media and creatives, writers to photographers to artists to illustrators, Glug Brighton is the second biggest satellite of the worldwide concept in the UK.
Helen and Carl aim to bring The Glug sensibility to The Vine Club and plan to host an exciting calendar of creative events for members.
The Vine Club will also be available in the evening as an event space for private and corporate events. The official Vine Club launch will take place on Friday January 26th from 6pm – 9pm by invitation only.

An exciting new workspace members’ club, The Vine Club, will be opening its doors in the heart of Brighton’s North Laine at the end of January.
The brainchild of husband and wife team Carl Rush and Helen Rush, who run Brighton based creative agency Crush Creative and illustration agency Agency Rush respectively, The Vine Club will offer a super stylish, relaxed, premium workspace designed to attract entrepreneurs, innovators and creative businesses alike.
The couple’s inspiration for The Vine Club came from many years working in similar environments in New York. Always an aspiration to bring the idea to Brighton, Helen and Carl have reinterpreted the concept with their own business needs in mind.
“If we didn’t have our own space this is where we would like to work”, explains Helen. “The Vine Club aims to provide a flexible style of working or a second business space for like-minded business communities in Brighton. You can expect a calm, relaxed and elegant environment and the chance to network, promote your business and collaborate. With the numbers of flexible workings growing annually to 4.2million in the last ten years, it’s an upward trend that we are excited to be at the heart of.”
The Vine Club has a unique Brighton history. Most recently a kickboxing club, the Victorian building was originally home to a co in making business - the ground floor space provided garaging for the horses when they came to collect the co ins. Now Helen and Carl have redesigned the space, creating a sophisticated interior aesthetic.
Carl and Helen are also co-founders and curators of Glug Brighton, which they have run for the past 8 years. Described as a “notworking” club, Glug was set up to champion creative communities around the world. Glug Brighton put on a regular calendar of events in which Helen and Carl’s favourite creatives and up-and- coming contemporaries give stimulating talks, make live art and host a whole range of inspiring interactive events and workshops. On June 14th, Crush & Agency Rush will be bringing you a very special edition Glug - Design icon Stefan Sagmeister will be coming all the way from New York, to Brighton, to talk to us about his new documentary ‘The Happy Film’ which was premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival this year, and part of the renowned film festival’s official selection. The film, which Sagmeister co-Directed with Ben Nabors, shows the man himself as the protagonist, or guinea pig. Sagmeister, an otherwise happy and successful designer turns himself into a project in which he attempts to train his mind to be happy, through 3 controlled experiments of medication, meditation and therapy. A day in the life of Crush. Photoshop magazine paid a visit to us at Crush HQ earlier this year, just before renovations started, to interview us about our work and take a sneak peak into what a typical day held in store for our designers and illustrators. Photoshop plays a very important part in our daily life here so we shared our top 5 tips for Photoshop users from embracing the Actions panel to developing your own style. We also took retrospective look at some of our previous work for international clients including MLS and MTV. However, it's not all work and no play here as you'll learn from Founder Carl’s no nonsense work ethic of ‘Do great work and get paid (properly) and then go to the pub'.
Quite excited about the upcoming International London Book Fair on March 14-16 as Crush will be exhibiting on stand 7H55, as well as catching up wth lots of our friends in the publishing world. We’re showcasing our work from recent years in the publishing sector from cleverly crafted websites, beautiful printed literature, catchy trailers and effective book launch campaigns. As well as the various marketing creative you may not know that we have also designed over 200 book covers, inclusion 'The Life of Pi' and the Jon Ronson series - we once even designed the Bible! We've really been channeling our efforts into motion projects of late, and the results are rather pleasing. We created a beautiful new animation in partnership with 375 sustainable brand engagement for their client Great Western Railways, along with a 90 second Explainer Video for one of our US based clients, the educational publisher Amplify, also from our New York client base, Omnicom’s CEO asked us to design an animated Holiday Card. Friday night’s Glug sold out and what a cracking evening it was. We were thoroughly entertained by Rob Lowe AKA Supermundane who even performed a little ditty for us (and now we know which Rob Lowe he is!). Inspired by Kyle Bean and moved to MAKE by Laura Jordan-Bambach. A big thank you to all our speakers, especially in front of such a big crowd! And thanks to all who made it possible along with our live artists (Yoyo, Reece Wykes and Andy Bourne), Photobot with their 3D Gif bonanza - hilarious!
